Loxeal METALOX is a solvent-free two-part, fast-curing, and thixotropic epoxy resin with excellent resistance to water and various chemical agents. It is specifically designed for repairing and/or bonding metal substrates as well as a variety of other materials such as concrete and wood.
It acts as an adhesive filler, suitable for repairing metal castings, pipework, or flanges and is also useful for automotive body repair. The fast cure of Loxeal METALOX allows machining or sanding of bonded/repaired components within a few hours after application, even outdoors.
Once polymerized, the adhesive can be sanded and painted. Loxeal METALOX can be cured at +60°C for 1 hour to accelerate the curing process and achieve high strength.
