A silicone-based fluid with unique properties, as it is not derived from petroleum or traditional organic chemistry. Such products represent one of the major classes of polymers originating from inorganic chemistry.
It offers a wide range of applications — from brake fluids and lubrication to electronics. The product provides safe, low-volatility heat transfer media and effective mould release agents for rubber, plastic and glass components. Suitable for lubrication of most non-metal to metal contact surfaces.
Used in hydraulic systems, inertial guidance systems, precision mechanisms, photographic equipment and as a dielectric fluid in electronic components such as capacitors and transformers.
Also suitable for polishes, high-gloss water-repellent coatings, antifoam formulations and grease production (when combined with thickeners such as silica or bentonite). High-performance greases can be produced by adding extreme pressure additives such as PTFE or molybdenum disulphide.
