Solano Aqua EM 290 is a silane/siloxane-based water repellent in aqueous emulsion form, developed to protect porous mineral substrates such as concrete, natural stone, tiles, plasters, and painted surfaces. The product deeply penetrates into the pores and capillaries of the surface, forming an invisible hydrophobic barrier that reduces water absorption while retaining the material’s original appearance.
This environmentally friendly, solvent-free emulsion offers high efficiency at low dosage, enhances durability against freeze-thaw damage and efflorescence, and is ideal for professional applications on both normal and reinforced concrete.
Solano Aqua EM 290 is a water-based silane/siloxane emulsion formulated for deep impregnation of porous mineral building materials. Designed for long-lasting water repellency, it is ideal for both normal and reinforced concrete, as well as natural stone, tiles, plaster, and painted surfaces where porosity is present.
This milky-white emulsion penetrates up to ¼ inch into the substrate, depending on porosity and moisture content, creating a transparent barrier that significantly reduces water absorption, prevents freeze-thaw damage, and prolongs surface durability — all without altering the material's appearance.
