SELECTARC 20/10BC - Standard rutile-coated stainless steel electrode
CLASSIFICATION
| AWS A5.4: E308L-16 | ISO 3581-A: E 19 9 L R 3 2 |
CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATIONS
SELECTARC 20/10BC is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel electrode with a rutile–basic coating that ensures excellent weld quality and high corrosion resistance.
The coating is characterized by very low moisture absorption, which improves arc stability and reduces the risk of porosity in the weld metal.
It is designed for welding all 18/8 type stainless steels, providing good mechanical strength and impact toughness at both low and elevated service temperatures.
Suitable for use within a temperature range from –120 °C to +350 °C, including the welding of tanks, pipelines, heat exchangers, and piping systems in the food, chemical, and energy industries.
