DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION
SELECTARC INOX 308HB is an austenitic stainless steel electrode with a basic-type coating containing approximately 5% ferrite and an increased carbon content. This electrode provides excellent mechanical properties and high strength under elevated temperature conditions.
It is specifically designed for 18/8-type (304H-type) stainless steels operating at high service temperatures up to +750 °C. Thanks to its coating composition, the electrode ensures a stable and uniform welding arc, easy slag removal, and a smooth weld bead profile.
Suitable for use in the oil and gas industry, chemical processing, and the energy sector, including welding of pipes, tanks, heat exchangers, and pipeline systems.
