SELECTARC INOX 316L - Rutile–basic coated stainless steel electrode with molybdenum addition
CLASSIFICATION
| AWS A5.4: E316L-17 | ISO 3581-A: E 19 12 3 L R 3 2 |
DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION
SELECTARC INOX 316L is a rutile–basic coated electrode with very low moisture absorption, providing a smooth weld appearance and a stable welding arc.
The electrode ensures even metal fusion without spatter, self-detaching slag, easy arc ignition, and re-ignition.
It is suitable for welding Cr–Ni–Mo austenitic stainless steels and overlay layers where high corrosion and heat resistance are required.
Applicable for service temperatures from –120 °C to +400 °C, especially in the chemical and petrochemical industries, food processing, shipbuilding, and pulp and paper production – for welding pipes, tanks, and heat exchangers.
