Welding wire for fusing on the surfaces of parts subjected to intense impact load and for welding parts of steels with a high manganese content (Hadfield steel). It is often used to form an interlayer before melting solid wire ("Kontakt 361" or similar). The austenitic structure of the seam provides excellent impact resistance and wear resistance, nickel and chromium additives increase resistance to cracking and abrasion resistance.
