Suitable for gas, LP gas, compressed air, gasoline and oil, industrial fluids, CFC, water and various chemicals. Low friction coefficient ensures easy assembly. Thixotropic properties prevent the sealant from migrating from the thread before or during curing. Replaces PTFE tape and sealing yarn.
The cured product forms an elastic film resistant to shocks and vibrations, maintaining sealing performance in the temperature range from −55°C to +150°C. Easy dismantling is possible even after years of service.
Approvals for natural gas and LP gas in vapour state
Europe: Approved according to EN 751-1 by DIN-DVGW NG 5146AR0574 for temperatures from −20°C to +150°C and pipe sizes up to 2”.
Australia: Approved by AGA No. 5047 for pressures up to 5 bar and pipe sizes up to 2”.
