High-temperature silicone fluids, especially phenyl-containing siloxanes (polymethylphenylsiloxanes), provide outstanding thermal stability and nearly constant viscosity across a wide temperature range. Low evaporation and non-flammability make this oil particularly suitable for high-temperature oil baths and closed systems.
The product offers a broad application range — from specialty lubricants and heat transfer fluids to electronics and precision mechanisms. It is suitable for high-temperature hydraulic systems, inertial guidance systems, sensitive timing devices, photographic equipment and other precision applications.
The silicone oil can also be used in grease and lubricant formulations when blended with thickeners such as silica or bentonite. High-performance greases can be produced by combining the silicone fluid with extreme-pressure additives such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or molybdenum disulphide (MoS₂).
Compared to dimethyl silicone fluids, it provides improved lubricity, oxidation resistance, thermal stability and mechanical durability. Operating temperature range: –55 °C to +290 °C. Gel formation time exceeds 700 hours at 230 °C.
