CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATIONS
SELECTARC B91 is a rutile–basic coated electrode with high metal recovery (170%), designed for welding Nickel–Chromium–Molybdenum (Ni–Cr–Mo) alloys to low alloy steels, as well as for welding special austenitic stainless steels.
It is frequently used for butt and fillet welding on low alloy and high strength steels, as well as for dissimilar joints, buffer layers, and hard-to-weld steels.
The weld metal provides a crack-resistant protective layer, ensuring high resistance to impact and pressure, particularly in mechanical engineering and heavy equipment applications.
