CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATIONS
SELECTARC Ni190 is a basic coated electrode with a “Monel®” type Nickel–Copper weld deposit, intended for welding and surfacing of Nickel–Copper, Copper–Nickel, and Copper–Nickel cladded steels.
Also suitable for joining dissimilar materials, such as steel/Nickel–Copper, steel/Copper, and Copper/Copper–Nickel combinations.
The weld metal provides excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-containing environments.
Used for:
– Construction of equipment for the chemical and petrochemical industry
– Naval constructions
– Installations for sea water desalination
“Monel®” is a registered trade name of Inco Alloys.
