CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATIONS
SELECTARC Ni182 is a basic coated Nickel base electrode with a NiCrFe type weld deposit.
It is used for repairing and joining Nickel alloys as well as cryogenic stainless steels (down to –196°C).
Suitable for joining dissimilar materials, such as stainless steels to low alloyed steels, and for stainless steel / Nickel alloy joints.
Also applicable for buttering of difficult-to-weld steels. The weld deposit is resistant to cracking.
Typical applications include:
– Oven parts, burners, heat treatment equipment, cement works;
– Chemical and petrochemical industries, glassworks, civil engineering, repairing and maintenance workshops.
