Basic coated electrode for welding tin bronze (Cu-Sn 6–8 %) and brass (Cu-Zn), as well as for surfacing on brass, steel and cast iron.
Also used for welding dissimilar metals, recommended for repair of bronze forgings and castings.
Can be used with AC and DC (DC + or -).
Very good corrosion resistance in seawater.
Application: shipbuilding, foundries, equipment repair.
Electrode diameter: 2.5; 3.2; 4.0 mm

Clean weld surfaces and cracks from grease.
Use a short arc and hold the electrode at a slight angle (10–20°).
Weld slowly to improve gas release.
Preheat thick parts (>6 mm) to 150–300°C.
Dry if necessary 2 hours at 150°C.
