Properties and application
Rutile-basic coated electrode for welding difficult-to-weld steels (tool steels, spring steels) and joining dissimilar materials (stainless steel to carbon steel). Austenitic–ferritic structure and high Cr and Ni content ensure excellent crack resistance, smooth weld bead, self-releasing slag.
Application: repair of tools, springs, hydraulic cylinders, chrome-plated and hardened parts, buffer layer before hardfacing of cutting edges.
