Kontakt 1034 Ag is a cadmium-free silver brazing alloy. The special high purity copper and zinc alloy with 34% silver ensures excellent wetting and easy use. Kontakt 1034 Ag is specially designed for maintenance and repair of food and refrigeration equipment. The brazing rod is coated with flux to simplify the working process and ensure a strong and corrosion resistant joint. The working temperature range is from 630 to 730 °C.
Kontakt 1034 Ag is intended for general use with copper and nickel alloys, stainless steel brazing and metal tool brazing.
Application examples – joining and repair of stainless steel and non-ferrous equipment, instruments and fittings in food, pharmaceutical and medical industries, as well as refrigeration, cooling and heating systems, chemical industry and laboratory equipment manufacturing and repair.

Rod diameter 2 mm, length 500 mm
Clean the brazing surfaces from corrosion, oxidation and grease. Heat the joint to working temperature, braze and allow the joint to cool to room temperature. Remove flux residues with warm water or solvent.
