Deposited Cr-carbide austenitic layer offers excellent abrasion resistance and long service life with moderate impact resistance.
Service life up to 50× longer than standard electrodes.
Apply 1–2 layers, hardness up to 63 HRC, machinable by grinding.
Application: mixers, concrete pumps, presses, excavator buckets etc.
Electrode diameters: 3.2 / 4.0 / 5.0 mm

Dry 1 h at 250°C if required.
Use short arc, keep electrode vertical.
Use buffer layer (Kontakt E / 218) if needed.
Preheat 200–400°C.
